Western New York Book Arts Center Main Gallery
On view March 29 – April 12, 2024
Opening Reception: Friday, March 29th, 2024 5-8pmSkinless Finless Headless Boneless Gutless Spineless is the culmination of Dalton Carlson’s research for his Master of Fine Art degree at the University at Buffalo. The exhibition features paintings, prints, and sculptures that function as a capitalist critique of large corporations and the methods they employ to control workers. Skinless Finless Headless Boneless Gutless Spineless uses Atlantic Salmon as a metaphor for the modern laborer, showing corporations’ strategies to domesticate the human and the non-human.
